5 Western States
Tracy and I haven’t been on an adventure in many years. Most of our travels from 2014 to 2018 were short trips around rock hounding and shows to sell his jewelry and trips to California to care for my Mom.
Since then, we’ve pretty much stayed home and made a few annual trips to Quartzsite for the rock show. Tracy’s sterling silver and gemstone jewelry is very popular, but very hard on wrists and back.
I’ve been creating miniature baskets from waxed linen and cotton with rock adornments since 2003. These past few years I’ve added size and more design to them, and they’ve sold quite well. We may put them on Etsy, but that remains to be seen.
In the meantime, we have three shows left and then, after 50 years, we’ll be done with retailing. It is time, and we’re both looking forward to it. But what’s next?
